治經(jīng)學者當參考古訓,誠以古經(jīng)非古訓不明也。大抵兩漢之時經(jīng)學有今文古文之分,今文多屬齊學,古文多屬魯學。今文家言多以經(jīng)術飾吏治,又詳于禮制,喜言災異五行;古文家言詳于訓詁,窮聲音文字之原,各有偏長,不可誣也。六朝以降,說經(jīng)之書分北學、南學兩派。北儒學崇實際,喜以漢儒之訓說經(jīng),或直質(zhì)寡文;南儒學尚浮夸,多以魏晉之注說經(jīng),故新義日出。及唐人作義疏,黜北學而崇南學,故漢訓多亡。宋明說經(jīng)之書喜言空...
